Each Professional Organizer may have their own way of organizing, folding, displaying, and so on, but we all do this first...
PLAN!!
When - Decide when you would like the project completed. This will determine when you should get started. Set a date of completion, the start date, and the dates in between to continue the process until you've completed your project. When will you declutter? Shop?
Who - Who will partake in getting this project done? You? Friends & family? Catherine O?!
Measure - Measure spaces: walls, shelves, cabinets, drawers, closets, etc. This is to help in what will fit where, or if you need to purchase organizing items.
Evaluate - How many of each category do you own? For example, if you have a lot of sweaters, you may need 2 drawers instead of 1, or an entire shelf instead of half a shelf, or a whole new system. Do you need organizing items? What's your budget?
How - Make a plan of attack with all of your answers from above.
